BAND MEMBERS
Summer Lungs is a one-man band based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that features vocals and guitar accompanied by loops and samples. The music is best described as passive-aggressive indie pop, featuring catchy hooks and melodies that uniquely compliment the frequently-complex and even somewhat-disturbing subject matter. Imagine what Phil Spector's prison album would sound like, and you're in the right ballpark.
Brendan Renne is the sole member, responsible for the songwriting, vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussion and electronics. A full album will be recorded this spring, followed by a two-week east coast summer tour.
